Burying a loved one is always an emotional experience. The nature of the service itself can be modified in accordance with the deceased's wishes, or with the general preferences of the family. We do not take a one-size-fits-all approach to our burial services, but rather we create the kind of service that families request—while ensuring that regardless of the particulars, each burial service is intimate, affirming, and beautiful. At Bunker's Funeral Home, we have provided professional and compassionate services in Las Vegas, NV for over 80 years. We have reputable and licensed funeral directors and arrangers on staff to take care of all your needs in planning the right service for your loved one. Some burial service options include visitation, funeral service, graveside, or no services at all.

Securing & Filing of the death certificate & burial permit

The desire to commemorate the lives of lost loved ones is universal—but the ways for doing so can be varied. Some families prefer to have memorial services that are solemn and fespectful, while others prefer celebration-of-life services that are more cathartic in their nature. It is important to us that our clients receive support in whatever ways they need, for whatever kinds of end-of-life services they wish to create. We offer a number of different burial services that can be tailored to meet the preferences of each family.

Our reception room can be used in a variety of ways including catered receptions serving light fare to full meal options.

I’m not sure how I would have navigated my father’s passing without the direction of the most wonderful person. Her name is Jaye MacPherson @Bunkers Hill in Las Vegas. It was so obvious that she cared from our first conversation which was to see if my dad had arrived at Bunkers. She directed me on who to contact at the corners office. When the corner couldn’t positively identify dad, Jaye advised me to let them know if he had any tattoos. He did and he was identified and then delivered to Bunkers. Jaye took charge and my dad, a Navy veteran, finally made it to his final destination to the VA cemetery in Dixon, California.
My dad selected Bunkers after the wonderful job they did with my stepmother‘s remains. At long last, they can be together forever. Because my dad passed without a will, and we live out of the area, Jaye Mac Pherson was able to recommend a local attorney, who could start the probate process for us. The Attorney has been in the area for years, is honest and wouldn’t be taking advantage of the family and our needs. He’s been very attentive and we appreciated the referral.

Veteran Burial Services

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces.

Final Memorialization

Having a permanent place - in a cemetery, mausoleum, or cremation garden - that can be visited regularly by family and friends is an essential part of the time following a death.
