Larry Davis comes to Bunkers Mortuaries, Cemeteries and Crematories with nearly 40 years of experience in the Funeral Industry. He worked for 15 years in Los Angeles, Ca for a leading funeral company before moving to Las Vegas nearly 25 years ago. He is active in the community with the Episcopal Church, supporter of Catholic Charities, Trauma Intervention Program, and Nevada Public Radio. He enjoys spending time at home with his husband, Lee, walking their dogs, watching the Aviators play at the Las Vegas Ballpark, or an evening at the Smith Center. Larry truly believes that everyone has the right to be honored when they die. No matter how large or small that remembrance is Bunkers Mortuaries, Cemeteries, and Crematories can handle your request.
Adam Zalesny has worked in the Funeral industry for the past 6 years in a Sales leadership role. His previous experiences include Sales Management, Sales in a production role, and industry experience in Technology, Linen & Laundry, various Healthcare services and products, and the Gift industry. As a member of the Bunkers team, Adam is leading and training an expert group of Sales professionals to provide the best customer service and sales experience for the families we serve. He is passionate about preparing families for one of the most difficult days in their lives through Pre-Planning for Cemetery and Funeral arrangements. A married father of 6 children, he has resided in the Las Vegas area for over 25 years, having moved from the Los Angeles area in 1995. He has a Bachelor’s degree in History from UCLA, plays drums on his church worship team, and his hobbies include reading, movies, water and snow skiing, golf, travelling, and spending time with his children and friends.
Manager of Bunkers Mortuary, Funeral Director and Embalmer
Russ grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After high school, Russ moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to attend Xavier University, where in 1987, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science degree and an Associate of Applied Science degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. As a licensed funeral director and embalmer, Russ thrived in his work environment, eventually rising to the position of manager. Russ left full-time employment in the funeral industry to attend culinary school in Cincinnati, where upon graduation, Russ and a classmate started what became a very successful catering business. All the while, Russ did not stray too far from funeral service, as he was the pre-need counselor for one funeral home and a trade embalmer for another. In 2012, Russ decided to follow his heart and move to Long Beach, California to be with and marry the love of his life. Russ obtained his Embalmer and Funeral Director licenses in California and worked for his husbands construction company while looking for a full time position in funeral service. Russ spent four years serving as the Managing Partner of White’s Funeral Home in Azusa, California bringing peace and comfort to all he served. A dream Russ and his husband, Larry G., had was to one day move to Las Vegas. This dream has come to fruition with becoming the Location Manager of Bunkers Mortuary. Russ brings 32 years of experience as a funeral director and embalmer and many years of management to this position. A main passion in his life has been caring for folks at a devastating time in their lives.
When not at work, Russ loves to cook, entertain friends, spend quiet time reading, doing oil pastels and spending as much time with his husband and their Shih Tzu, Daisy, as possible.
Lennette (Harris) Smith was born and raised in Gary, Indiana where she graduated from East Chicago Central High School. She moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1994 to raise her three children. While living in Ohio, Lennette was employed in the accounting field for over 17 years. In 2010, she married her husband Andy and inherited two additional children. Lennette’s family moved back to Indiana where she was given the opportunity to change careers. After much praying and a lot of spiritual guidance, she enrolled in Ivy Tech Mortuary School where she was awarded the Kappa Kappa Kappa Scholarship for Second Career and the NFDA Executive Scholarship. Lennette graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Science in 2014 from Ivy Tech Northwest. In 2015, her family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada and Lennette began a new career in the funeral industry. Since her relocation to Nevada, Lennette has been awarded 2017 Meet the Mentor Awards from the (NFDA) National Funeral Directors Association. Lennette is an active member of One Body in Christ Christian Church, Las Vegas, Nevada.
She has recently finished her embalming apprenticeship and is pursuing her embalmer’s license. Lennette has participated and raised funds for the Out of the Dark campaign and Walk for a Cure campaign. She is compassionate and caring and loves helping families. Lennette has been servicing the Las Vegas area with compassion and dignity since 2015 and has been an important part of the Bunker’s Team since 2017.
Cari Poscente was born in Boise, Idaho and raised primarily in Sun Valley, Idaho. She was known in High School as a star runner and Senior Class president. Cari attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho as was a business major. Cari’s professional career started in land development in the 1990’s and was the owner of the brokerage until 2011. Cari moved to Las Vegas and enjoyed a few years of retirement before a chance meeting with a funeral home owner who asked Cari to get involved with doing pre-need funeral sales. Cari loved meeting with families so much that she decided to get her Funeral Arrangers License so she could meet with families who had a recent loss. Cari joined the Bunkers Funeral Home team in March of 2020 and is a valued member of our staff.
During a Golden Knights hockey game in February of 2018, Cari was proposed to and was married at a surprise wedding. Her husband, Steve Poscente, put everything together behind her back for a very memorable occasion. Cari will be happy to share with you pictures of her son and four grandchildren who are all the loves of her life. She is also the proud step-mom of her husband’s three children.
Administrative Assistant at Bunkers Mortuary
Louise was born in Augusta, Maine to parents of French Canadian decent. While in high school, Louise worked in medical offices as a file clerk which was instrumental in creating a love within her for the medical field. Her college career was filled with business courses and in Florida, continuing medical education courses. Louise moved back to Maine where she set up medical offices for new doctors coming to Maine. This led Louise to train at the famous M G Westmore Academy in Hollywood, California becoming certified as an Image Enhancement coach (working with cancer patients and with people with facial anomalies to coach them on how to apply film industry cosmetics to cover burn marks , birth marks, scars etc). Louise then moved to Phoenix and during her time there, Louise met and became friends with Elizabeth Kubler Ross. Louise moved to Las Vegas in 2006 as she had friends here and became head of HR at Levy Restaurants at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Louise then managed a support program at the Nevada Cancer institute. Throughout her career, Louise has consulted businesses on taxes, organizational issues and problem solved many issues within the offices and buildings. Bunkers is extremely fortunate to have Louise. A quick learner and amazing IT go to person.
Funeral Home Receptionist
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Michelle is a graduate of Eldorado High School class of 2019. During her high school years, Michelle played soccer and was a part of the performing arts groups. She loved playing the role of Patty Simcox in the musical Grease and enjoyed other roles in multiple plays. In the performing arts, she was also a part of the advanced women’s choir and the pop choir. She also competed in a beauty pageant in February of 2019 and won Miss Internet and Miss Personality as first runner up. Michelle is currently majoring in Paramedic Medicine at the College of Southern Nevada. Her favorite thing to do outside of work is do makeup and sing. Michelle joined Bunkers in January of 2020 as our receptionist. She has over 4 years of customer service experience and choosing to join Bunker’s was a phenomenal idea.
Family Service Counselor
Mae has been serving families in the funeral and cemetery industry for over 13 years. She recently relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada and decided to continue her career with the Bunkers Group. Her past experience involved working for the Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and Rose Hills Memorial Park. She has been acknowledged as a Certified Service Professional, Associate of the Quarter, and Market Premier Performer.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Mae is proficient in both English and Spanish, thanks to her maternal family and her five-year missionary experience in South America. Mae was recently married, becoming the new Mrs. Fullmer, and the mother of a newly blended family totaling six wonderful children. Mae is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and voluntarily serves in the Relief Society ministry. She enjoys camping, hiking, biking, shooting, crafts, good dining places, blockbuster movies, and Legend of Zelda video games. Mae is currently studying to become a Licensed Family Therapist. She also has the goal of someday serving a full-time mission alongside her beloved husband during their retirement years. Choosing the right and serving families with kindness and compassion are the core values Mae continually strives for.

Stephanie has worked in the Funeral Industry since 2015. She decided to pursue this career when one of her close friends passed away. Since she had experienced grief of her own; she felt a strong calling to help others through the worst day of their life. She enjoys meeting new people and listening to their stories regarding their loved ones. She feels it’s very important to celebrate the life of those who have passed on, and provide family members a unique memorial to go visit them to honor their memory.
Stephanie was born and raised in Southern Nevada. Before working in the Funeral Industry, she worked in a variety of occupations, all relating to customer service. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from UNLV in 2002, she worked as a Graphic Designer for most of her career. Then she pursued her interest in baking, and earned a certification from Le Corden Bleu in Las Vegas in 2012. She continues to use her artistic skills by incorporating them in her profession as a Family Service Counselor, and a Licensed Agent in Nevada to Prearrange Cemetery Plots and Funerals.

Martha comes to Bunkers Mortuaries, cemeteries and crematory with over 11 years of solid Sales Experience. Attending Riverside Community College, she graduated with a Certificate in Bilingual Community Interpreting. She has since acquired licenses and is currently authorized to sell Life Insurance, Funeral & Cemetery Arrangements. In her spare time, Martha is a volunteer with Nevada Donor Network, and various other organizations.
Martha was born in beautiful country of Guatemala before her family came to the United States when she was a small child where they settled in California, but Martha has been a proud resident of the State of Nevada for 19 years. She is the proud mother of 3 amazing children and the even prouder grandmother of two grandsons. She enjoys living in Las Vegas where she can take advantage of the great shows, movies and Lake Mead. She also enjoys her daily CrossFit classes, running and hiking all over the beautiful Las Vegas Valley. When she is not proudly chasing her dreams, she is performing various DYI projects on her home and spending time with her family and friends.

Elena Fernandez joined Bunkers in 2019, bringing with her 9 years of funeral industry experience. She has served in a Funeral Service counselor capacity prior to transferring her outstanding Customer Service skills in to a Cemetery Sales Counselor role. While learning more about the funeral and cemetery industry, Elena is continuing to grow by studying for her business law degree. Elena enjoys employing her knowledge to help families during one of their most difficult times in life. Elena also enjoys spending time with her children, travelling, and meeting new people. She is very goal-oriented and appreciates the opportunity to serve her community through her job.

Gaylene was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She is a licensed cosmetologist and has worked at some of the top salons in the Las Vegas area. Gaylene has over 18 years of customer service experience and has been in the funeral industry for over 5 years, finding her new home as a Family Service Counselor at Bunkers Mortuary and Cemeteries in August 2020. She is honored to have the rewarding opportunity to assist others at, and before, their time of need.
Gaylene is the proud mother of two children, and plays 8 woodwind instruments, in addition to hiking, fishing, camping, and music.
