Tribute

Anne Reilly
1930-2021
Anne Marie Plesa Reilly, a 66-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
Anne was born to Elias and Anna Plesa on September 12, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from South High, where she enjoyed playing softball and loved dancing the jitterbug. Anne met the love of her life, George, when she was 15 years old. In 1950, Anne and George married. They shared a beautiful, fulfilling and adventurous life of 64 years together.

After moving to Las Vegas in 1955, Anne spent the next 28 years working as an Adjustment Clerk for First Interstate Bank (Wells Fargo). She was a master seamstress, a wonderful cook, and she loved sports. She was especially fond of horseracing, tennis, and was a huge fan of the UNLV Runnin' Rebels; however, family and friends are what mattered most to Anne. Anne and George spent their lives helping others.
Anne was predeceased by her husband, George C. Reilly, Jr. and her great grandson, Indiana Rain Wells; her parents, Elias and Anna Plesa; her siblings, Mary Fox, Mickey, George (Geetza) and Eddie Plesa Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly "Mimi" (Reilly) Stirling (Curt Weisshart); granddaughter, Brigette Lee Wells (Brian Wells); great-granddaughter, Gretchen Sage Wells; as well as her cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly. Anne's loving kindness made an impact on the many who knew and loved her. She will forever be in our hearts.
