He is also an avid philanthropist while donating thousands of dollars’ worth of priceless, rare, artifacts to various museums, galleries, and universities around the world. Derrick will leave behind a 12 year old son, mother, sister, and brother. “Due is to Allah that which He has taken away and His is whatever He has given. With Him, everything has an appointed term; so have patience and seek reward from Him” Amen.
