Susan Rushing

Susan Rushing was born June 17, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama to the parents of Susan Pittman and Tillie Crowell, following to the death of her mother she was raised by her Aunt Rachel and Uncle Columbus. Later years she bored two sons Samuel L. Bonner and James L. Bonner with her late husband Albert Bonner. Moving forward with her life she moved to New Jersey successfully continued on with her career at Rutgers University where she met her husband, the love of her life her soul mate for 50+ years Henry Rushing. They worked hard and loved to travel together. Finally after 26 years they both retired and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada on their new adventure. A few years later Tranyce Rushing was bore to them. Susan Rushing was known for many things. But one thing she was, was a Godly woman filled with nothing but faith and love. She fostered many children through her years but was a mother to all. She became an active member and deaconess of Victory Missionary Baptist Church of Las Vegas, Nevada following her late position as a deaconess at Antioch Christian Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was an epitome of a Child of God. She lived happy, with gracious love and belief. Although she completed many successful accomplishments, her biggest, in her family's eyes was her strong will to make her family understand what it means to pray, stay together and be a family.
